Applications for the KNB Scholarship program are open for the academic year 2024. It is a fully funded KNB program that offers scholarships to study Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degrees at Indonesian participating universities. There are a total of 31 universities (with 1,457 study programs) participating in the KNB Scholarship program. For the year 2024, the government of Indonesia offers 222 scholarships to international students. This fully funded program will cover tuition fees, living allowance, Airfare, settlement allowance, monthly stipend, and health insurance.

Total Scholarships & Duration
There are 222 scholarships that will be given to international students in 2024.
- 30 scholarship For a Bachelors Degree for a duration of 8 Semesters (48 Months)
- 162 scholarships for Masters degree for a duration of 4 Semesters (24 Months)
- 30 scholarships for a PhD degree for a duration of 8 Semesters (48 Months)
Note: A One-Year Indonesian Language Training Program (BIPA) is compulsory for all applicants.
KNB Scholarship Requirements
- A candidate must be a developing country citizen as defined by the Indonesian government.
- Candidate must meet the academic requirements of the chosen university and program.
- For a bachelor’s degree scholarship, the maximum age of the candidate is 21 years.
- For a master’s degree scholarship, the maximum age of the candidate is 35 years.
- For a PhD degree scholarship, the maximum age of the candidate is 40 years
- Provide TOEFL ITP, IELTS, TOEFL IBT, TOEIC.
- Candidates from English-speaking countries are exempted from the English Language Test.
- Or candidates who have completed their previous education from an English Medium Institute are also exempted from the English Language Test but they have to show English Language Proficiency Proof.
- A Completed online application form.

Applicants can apply online for the KNB Scholarship program through the KNB scholarship website: https://knb.kemdikbud.go.id/. Submit the required documents. Complete the online application process. The results of the selection process will be shown online on the KNB Scholarship Website and will also be officially announced in the Indonesian Embassy’s publication Network.
